In addition to cash payments, Better Works seeks to educate participants on life skills and aspects of being a good
employee - being on time, putting forth effort to the job assigned, and being able to work as a team member. Several
former program members have found full time employment after sharpening their skills.
Since inception (about 18 months ago), Better Work participants have removed 68,050 pounds, or 33.8 tons of debris and garbage from city and state owned land in Sierra Vista. Additionally, Better Works has helped 7 participants find full time employment.
Your donation to Better Work helps us to hire individuals in need to remove debris from clean-up sites.
